1. Osmosis Machine at Lugala Lutheran Hospital-Tanzania for production of infusion fluids powered by Solar Photovoltaic System, which is run under the technical support of a member of CONSERVATORS BUREAU.

 

 

2. 360W Solar Generator at Mbingu Sisters Centre-Tanzania installed on the roof without frame. CONSERVATORS BUREAU carried activity of improving the system installation.

 

3. Eng. Matthew Matimbwi carrying out the Research Work on Solar Technology at Auroville, India

 

4. Solar Fridge installed at the Laboratory of Lugala Lutheran Hospital-Tanzania for cooling blood and reagents. It runs under the technical support of a member of CONSERVATORS BUREAU.

 

5. A night light system for the patient rooms at Lugala Lutheran Hospital-Tanzania charged by thermal diesel generator. It was designed and installed by a member of CONSERVATORS BUREAU.

 

6. Solar Street light at Putsil, India, where Eng. Matthew Matimbwi, a member of CONSERVATORS BUREAU, spent two months preparing solar development program for weak sections of India.

 

7. CONSERVATORS BUREAU promotes burning of clay bricks using     agricultural by-products like rice husks to save diminishing wood. Burning clays bricks is one of the activities contributing to the massive environmental destruction.

 

8. CONSERVATORS BUREAU carried out the renovation, 2005, of the Church Building belonging to the Catholic Church, Diocese of Mahenge, St. Pius X Parish. The church was built 50 years ago.

 

9. CONSERVATORS BUREAU carried out planning and design of gravity water supply at Chita Village. The system had been designed to supply water for 4000 people.

 

10. CONSERVATORS BUREAU promotes women groups, which works to disseminate the Appropriate Technology. In the picture, the Women Group at Igawa-Malinyi, which produces pottery products. One of them is the improved charcoal stove (2nd from right, front line).

 

11. CONSERVATORS BUREAU promotes communication in the remote areas. The young boys of Kilolero Village were carrying materials happily for the installation of Free to Air Television Satellite Receiver powered by 240W Solar Photovoltaic System. Kilolero is located 70km from Malinyi, where the mud road from Ifakara ends.

 

12. CONSERVATORS BUREAU promotes the uses of natural pesticides and solar food drying technologies. Fruits and vegetables are processed that are available during off seasons.

In the picture, the fruity plant called nyanya chungu, named after bitter test of its fruits.

 

13. CONSERVATORS BUREAU promotes the powering of remote communication systems using solar systems. The satellite internet system at Lugala Lutheran Hospital is powered by solar system installed by a member of CONSERVATORS BUREAU.

 

14. CONSERVATORS BUREAU promotes the use local building materials. In the picture, a bar at Malinyi built using the locally available materials. 95% of the materials used were collected from the bush.

 

15. CONSERVATORS BUREAU cooperates with other promoters of renewable energy. In the picture, the partner from Wildau University, Germany, Eng. Michael Jergovic, visited Ifakara to support the testing phase of Parabolic Solar Cooker. The test results showed that the solar cooker could be used for sterilization of small medical instruments.

 

 

16. CONSRVATORS BUREAU works to build confidence of people on the renewable energy. It has given a free technical advice to Itete Parish Priest to correct the wrong installation of solar panels. Two panels were installed facing west and the other two facing east. The Solar Generator was harnessing only 50% of the energy. After the correction, the priest house gets enough power.

Fr. Kaziyareli has appreciated the amount of money the school has been saving from buying diesel, after the installation of Solar Generator.

 

18. Conservators Bureau promotes the bee keeping at rural areas by promoting bee-farming and sustainable honey harvesting.

The beekeepers sale the honey for income and keep some for the family uses.

 

19. Conservators Bureau in cooperation with St. Klaus Parish Ngoheranga carried out fish farming pilot project. The project was successful. The plan is under the way to disseminate the knowledge in the ward of Ngoheranga that families can have fish for food supply and sale the excess for the income.

 

20. Conservators Bureau cooperates with other environmental stakeholders to preserve the nature by promoting tree planting.

The trees planted are multipurpose trees.

 

21. Conservators Bureau promotes the supply of water to the rural areas.

It has already participated in the development of water supply systems at Tanganyika Village, Chita Village and Matema Village-Mlimba.
